Chief Executive Officer
Shane Hariz is the Chief Executive Officer at Milestone Construction Group, LLC. Shane participates in executive decision making and risk assessment evaluations. Having been born and bred in the real estate industry, Shane specializes in managing development and construction through its entirety, ensuring accurate and efficient transformations which provide maximum flourishment of properties for the communities they are located in. He continues to develop, construct, own, and manage multi-family projects, single family residences, shopping centers, office buildings, service stations, and single tenant quick service restaurants (QSRs) across the nation. Having been involved in all different stages and asset classes of real estate, he is keen in formulating solutions that are prosperous for all parties involved. Additionally, as a licensed real estate broker Shane is a trusted source in the brokerage community having transacted in excess of $400,000,000. Shane is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University having earned a B.B.A. in Entrepreneurship (Cum Laude). Shane has previously served as President of Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society as well as President of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

Steve Massei has over 20+ years’ experience constructing multi-family and luxury single family homes. For over 10 years, Steve served as Senior Vice President of Construction for one of California’s largest multifamily general contracting firms. In this role, he managed a large staff of construction personnel and all field activities.
Steve and his team have constructed an upwards of 3000 + units of apartment communities in addition to a large-scale portfolio of luxury custom homes and high-density production single family homes.

Chief Financial Officer
Marcus Griffin is a principal at Milestone Housing Group, LLC an affordable housing development company based in Los Gatos, California. Marcus has spent his entire 25+year career in the affordable housing tax credit industry. He spent several years working at CPA firms including Novogradac and Company and Cohn Reznick. He then was a CFO for a variety of organizations, including developers, a syndicator and a financial consulting firm.
Marcus has designed and closed numerous innovative financing transactions, using a broad array of financing resources provided at the local, state and Federal level.
Marcus is also a licensed CPA by the State of California (inactive status).
Executive Vice President
Charles leads the day-to-day operations for Milestone Construction Group as Executive Vice President. He has nearly 20 years of experience in the ground-up construction of multifamily and mixed-use apartment projects across California ranging from San Diego to Sonoma to the Central Valley and the Inland Empire. Charles has overseen the completion of over $800 million in construction, 35+ projects, and nearly 4,000 multifamily units. Charles previously served as the Director of Construction for one of the largest market rate, multifamily apartment contractors in the United States, and prior to that time as Director of Construction for a regional general contractor focused on affordable apartments funded through by low-income housing tax credits. Charles holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering with a construction management emphasis from the University of Southern California.
CONTROLLER
Zen serves as the controller and is in charge of accounting, interface with vendors, and corporate compliance matters. Zen has a long history as an accountant in the construction industry and is well versed in the latest software platforms that automate traditional accounting, payment and compliance functions. Zen also serves similar functions for Milestone’s sister company, Milestone Housing Group LLC, an owner/developer of multifamily affordable housing.
